Wednesday Nights are back! If you use the trails, consider volunteering to help with trail maintenance. It's a great way to get outside and involved in our outdoor community.
Wear appropriate clothing suitable for working outdoors. This includes pants (not shorts), sturdy footwear, and work gloves. Bring a willingness to sweat and have fun! ORA will provide tools, refreshments, a safety talk, and more fun. All trail work groups are led by trained ORA volunteers.

The Bluffland Plan Book Club will meet to study and discuss "The Blufflands: A Plan for Conservation and Recreation Throughout the La Crosse - La Crescent Region". Any member of the public who is interested in learning more about the plan and its implementation in the region is welcome to attend. Participate in one or any number of the four meetings scheduled. Sign up is encouraged but not required. Meetings will be recorded for future viewing if you are unable to attend but want to learn more.

Chad Erickson Park/Community Forest Workday with Rotary East

ORA Trails is looking for volunteers to mow, weed eat, clear brush and tidy up the trails in the Community Forest at Chad Erickson Park. Rotary East will be hosting their regular work morning at the park and around the pond so there is no shortage of projects to work on. Expect summer work conditions so remember bug spray, water, sunscreen, and work gloves. Chainsaw operators need to have completed certification training, and this is a great opportunity to practice your skills for newly certified folks.
