Flower Moon Sunset Walk
Flower Moon Sunset Walk
May 17, 2022 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
WisCorps - Wisconsin Conservation Corps, Inc.
Join ORA and WisCorps for another sunset walk. This candlelit walk will take place in Myrick Park and be approximately a mile long loop. The moon itself won't be out until later but we should get a beautiful view of the sunset.
Kids of any age will be able to make flower seed balls to take home, plant, and watch grow all summer long!
The actual full moon is on May 16th, it is considered a supermoon AND there is a lunar eclipse that evening. We encourage you to get outside both nights! For more information on the eclipse you can check out -->https://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/total-lunar-eclipse-may16-2022/
