Public Input Sessions

Session #1: Wednesday, December 16, 2020 – Virtual Zoom Meeting

A virtual public notice meeting was held on December 16 via online video conference to discuss the plans for hiking trail addition to Miller Bluff, a parcel owned by the City of La Crosse. A recording of that meeting can be played below.

Session #2: Saturday, January 16, 2021, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Lower Hixon parking lot

We held a self guided tour on January 16th for interested parties to provide input for a hiking trail addition to Miller Bluff, a parcel owned by the City of La Crosse. The weather cooperated and several of you came out to speak with us. We really appreciate hearing all the input and meeting everyone. Thank you for all of your survey responses and for coming out to see us.

Session #3: Miller Bluff Trail Concept Design Plan Survey

The design concept of the Miller Bluff Trail will provide a bidirectional hiking experience that is both sustainable and enjoyable for a broader spectrum of trail users. Located in Hixon Forest, this parcel of land is known to be well-used and highly desirable year-round by users of all types due to it’s thick tree coverage, breathtaking vista overlooks, and miles of trail to keep our community active and outdoors.
Please take the time to study the plan to the left and provide comments through the survey button below.
